Performance Assessment Data

Assessment is an integral part of teachers' daily practice in order to make sure all children are learning exactly what they need in order to make progress. Carefully planned questioning together with marking and feedback gives teachers everything they need to know in order to plan the next sequence of learning. 

In addition to ongoing daily assessment, more formal assessment takes place in autumn, spring and summer in order to ensure pupils are making at least expected progress, whatever their starting point. 

Throughout primary school, children sit several statutory assessments which schools are required to publish on their website.
