Our Vision and Values
At Pucklechurch Primary School, our vision of ‘Aspire, Believe Achieve’ is at the heart of everything we do. We aspire to be the very best version of ourselves and every member of our school community encourage our children and staff to hold high aspirations and embrace every opportunity guided by our Bible verse “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven” Matthew 5:16. Through this, we achieve not only academic success, but personal development. As a school, we nurture the growth of
- Confident individuals, who demonstrate resilience and can positively face the successes and challenges of life;
- Aspiring learners, who can take their place in a constantly evolving world;
- Responsible people, who are able to make a positive contribution to today’s diverse society and local community;
- Respectful people who are appreciative of each other’s uniqueness and talents whilst being recognised and celebrated for their own.
Our school vision is underpinned by our 6 Christian Values:
Compassion Respect Courage Forgiveness Friendship Generosity
These values are central to shaping children’s social and philosophical interactions. They are explicit in Collective Worship but are also the daily drumbeat of everyday practice. They are present in our relational behaviour policy and codes of conduct to ensure that they guide every decision and practice.
Our values represent our commitment to developing the whole child and allowing them to achieve a spirituality based on tangible responses to and behaviours in the world around them. The most important thing to us is that they are real and part of what we do.
